Having a baby comes with a lot of stuff. Nappies, wipes, feeding gear, clothes, toys, gadgets, products you are told you absolutely need… and somehow there is always more.
This workshop is designed to help make that whole world feel a little simpler. Whether you are expecting a baby, completely new to cloth nappies, already using them and having a few struggles, or simply curious about reusable baby products, this session will give you practical, realistic information without the pressure to do everything perfectly.
We look at what happens to disposable nappies, how modern cloth nappies actually work, how to wash and care for them, and how to choose a system that suits your family rather than someone else’s Instagram feed. We also look beyond nappies and talk about reusable wipes, other low-waste baby products and one of the biggest questions new parents face: what do you genuinely need, and what can you probably do without?
This is not about telling parents they have to use cloth nappies full-time or make every reusable swap possible. It is about giving you good information so you can make choices that work for your family. You might use cloth nappies every day, part-time, only at home, or not at all. You might make a few reusable swaps and leave the rest. All of that is okay.
Parenting is already hard enough without adding another layer of guilt. So come along, ask the questions you have been too embarrassed to ask, have a laugh, and leave feeling much more confident about cloth nappies, reusable products and the choices available to you.
